What happens after you submit
- Home Solar Atlas verifies the ZIP and stores your request in our private lead database.
- We may contact you using the method you selected to clarify your solar project or matching request.
- Your initial submission does not authorize us to sell or send your contact details to installers.
- If we identify an approved installer candidate for your project, we can send you a separate private consent link that names that specific company.
- Only after you authorize that named installer can Home Solar Atlas create a short-lived private delivery link containing the contact fields you approved for sharing.
Matching coverage will grow over time. A request is not a purchase obligation, credit application or promise that a specific number of quotes is available in your market.
How installer-specific permission works
- The consent page names the proposed installer before you decide.
- Your permission applies only to that named company, not to a general installer list.
- Email sharing requires your installer-specific authorization.
- If you supplied a phone number, you separately choose whether it may be included.
- You can decline without creating a purchase obligation.
Private consent and delivery links expire automatically and are not intended for public sharing.
Before speaking with an installer
- Estimate a reasonable system size with the Home Solar Calculator.
- Check current state pricing and homeowner quote data.
- Ask for a cash price even if you expect to finance.
- Separate solar, battery, roofing and electrical-upgrade pricing.
- Compare workmanship and roof-penetration warranty terms.
- Upload proposals to Quote Compare before signing.
Frequently asked questions
Does submitting share my information with installers?
No. The initial request stays with Home Solar Atlas. We require separate consent that names a specific approved installer before contact details can be delivered to that company.
Is a phone number required?
No. You can choose email-only contact from Home Solar Atlas. If you later authorize one installer and a phone number exists, you separately choose whether the phone number is included.
Will I definitely receive three quotes?
No. Installer matching coverage varies by ZIP and will expand over time. We do not advertise a guaranteed number of quotes where we cannot deliver it.
